How it works and what does it do?
Our assessments look at gathering information in several key areas of your child's profile and functioning. This can include looking at cognitive or intellectual skills, memory functioning, visual-motor coordination, executive functioning, and social-emotional functioning.
Once this information is gathered, analyzed, and interpreted, we will provide a highly detailed Psychological Assessment report that shows what your child does well, where they may require support, and what next-steps would look like.

You receive a highly detailed diagnostic report detailing diagnoses, specific classroom accommodation recommendations based on strengths and needs, and home-based support strategies.
It can also be used to help access government funded external programs and supports such as the Ontario Autism Program, and Developmental Services of Ontario
We meet with parents to review developmental history, school records, and specific academic or behavioral questions. Questions, concerns, and things that need clarification are all addressed before we proceed.
One-on-one diagnostic testing measuring cognitive, academic, memory, visual-motor coordination, and/or executive functioning profiles. Typical assessments generally require two or more sessions and specifics will be discussed with parents. We understand that we all lead busy lives so we try our best to accommodate a schedule that works best for both parent and children.
